Busy day today; I like it that way. The hours at work flew and I got a lot accomplished. That’s a raising satisfying feeling. In that, I find God’s love.
When I feel hurt or angry, I find proof of God’s love in my sense of humor.
This photo was taken at the train tracks over which I drive on my way to and from work. I love the sound of trains; in having found a home near train tracks (near enough to hear the train faintly), I find God’s love.
When my older daughter laughs, it’s a musical sound; in this God’s love is audible to my heart.
Tonight, after a busy day, I am tired. Tired and cranky would be a better description of my mood. My active, into-everything toddler stopped her busy-ness long enough to sit on my lap, give me a great big hug and lead us in a round of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” complete with hand motions. Surely in those tender moments, God’s love is revealed.
